Growshi ("Growshi," "we," "us") makes an AI grocery assistant that plans meals and builds shopping carts for you. This policy explains what we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have. Questions? Email support@growshi.app.
Information we collect
- Account details — your name and email when you sign up with email or Google.
- Preferences — household size, dietary needs, favorite cuisines, staples, your chosen store, and similar settings you provide.
- Pantry photos — images you choose to scan, which we process to recognize the items you already have.
- Order & activity data — the carts you build, recipes you save or rate, and how you use the app, so Growshi can learn your taste.
How we use your information
- To plan meals, build and price grocery carts, and personalize suggestions to your household and taste.
- To learn your preferences over time and proactively keep your staples stocked.
- To operate, secure, and improve the service, and to provide customer support.
Signing in with Google
If you sign in with Google, we receive your name, email address, and profile picture from your Google account. We use this only to create and access your Growshi account. We do not access your Gmail, Drive, or other Google data.
Service providers we share data with
We use trusted providers to run Growshi, and share only what's needed for them to do their job:
- Supabase — secure database, authentication, and file storage.
- Google & Anthropic — AI models that turn your requests into meal plans and carts.
- Kroger — grocery product and pricing lookups.
- RevenueCat & the App Store / Google Play — subscription management and billing.
- AgentMail — handling support email.
We do not sell your personal information or share it for third-party advertising.
Data retention & your rights
We keep your information while your account is active. You can ask us to access, correct, or delete your data at any time by emailing support@growshi.app, and we'll honor it promptly.
Security
Your data is access-controlled per user, and we rely on industry-standard encryption in transit and at rest through our providers. No system is perfectly secure, but we work to protect your information.
Children
Growshi is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their information.
Changes
We may update this policy as Growshi evolves. We'll post the new effective date here and, for material changes, notify you in the app or by email.
