Ingredients

  • 12 oz linguine
  • 1 lb shrimp
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp onion powder
  • 1 tsp smoked paprika
  • ½ tsp dried oregano
  • ½ tsp dried thyme
  • ½ tsp cayenne pepper (optional)
  • ½ tsp salt
  • ¼ tsp black pepper
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 3 clove garlic
  • 1 red bell pepper
  • 1 green bell pepper
  • 1½ cup heavy cream
  • ½ cup chicken broth
  • ½ cup Parmesan cheese (optional)
  • 2 tbsp fresh parsley (optional)

Steps

  1. Cook linguine according to package directions; drain and set aside.
  2. In a bowl, toss shrimp with garlic powder, onion powder, smoked paprika, oregano, thyme, cayenne pepper (if using), salt, and black pepper.
  3. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add shrimp and cook for 2-3 minutes per side, until pink and cooked through. Remove shrimp from skillet and set aside.
  4. Add minced garlic, red bell pepper, and green bell pepper to the same skillet. Sauté for 3-5 minutes until softened.
  5. Stir in heavy cream and chicken broth, bringing the mixture to a simmer. Cook for 2-3 minutes until the sauce slightly thickens.
  6. Return shrimp to the skillet with the sauce. Add the cooked linguine and toss to combine.
  7. Serve immediately, garnished with Parmesan cheese and fresh parsley if desired.
