Four Cheese Pizza

Ingredients
- 1 lb pizza dough
- 1½ cup mozzarella cheese, shredded
- ½ cup provolone cheese, shredded
- ¼ cup Parmesan cheese, grated
- ¼ cup ricotta cheese
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- ½ tsp garlic powder
- ½ tsp dried oregano
- ¼ tsp salt
- ⅛ tsp black pepper
- 2 tbsp fresh basil leaves (optional)
Steps
- Preheat oven to 450°F (230°C). If using a pizza stone, place it in the oven during preheating.
- On a lightly floured surface, stretch or roll out the pizza dough to your desired thickness.
- Transfer the dough to a pizza pan or parchment-lined baking sheet. Brush the dough with olive oil and sprinkle with garlic powder, oregano, salt, and pepper.
- Evenly spread mozzarella, provolone, and Parmesan cheeses over the dough. Dollop small amounts of ricotta cheese over the top.
- Bake for 12-15 minutes, or until the crust is golden brown and the cheese is bubbly and slightly browned.
- Remove from oven, let cool for a few minutes, then slice and garnish with fresh basil if desired.
