Ingredients

  • 1½ lb salmon fillets
  • 3 tbsp gochujang
  • 2 tbsp soy sauce
  • 2 tbsp honey
  • 1 tbsp rice vinegar
  • 1 tsp sesame oil
  • 2 clove garlic
  • 1 tbsp ginger
  • 1 tsp sesame seeds (optional)
  • 2 green onions (optional)
  • 1 tbsp olive oil

Steps

  1. Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Mince garlic and grate fresh ginger. In a small bowl, whisk together gochujang, soy sauce, honey, rice vinegar, sesame oil, minced garlic, and grated ginger to create the glaze.
  3. Pat salmon fillets dry with paper towels. Place them on the prepared baking sheet and brush generously with olive oil.
  4. Spoon or brush the gochujang glaze over the salmon fillets, ensuring they are evenly coated.
  5. Bake for 12-15 minutes, or until the salmon is cooked through and flakes easily with a fork.
  6. Garnish with sesame seeds and sliced green onions, if desired, before serving.
