Gochujang-Glazed Salmon
Flaky salmon fillets are coated in a sweet and spicy gochujang glaze, then baked to perfection for a quick and flavorful meal.
Ingredients
- 1½ lb salmon fillets
- 3 tbsp gochujang
- 2 tbsp soy sauce
- 2 tbsp honey
- 1 tbsp rice vinegar
- 1 tsp sesame oil
- 2 clove garlic
- 1 tbsp ginger
- 1 tsp sesame seeds (optional)
- 2 green onions (optional)
- 1 tbsp olive oil
Steps
- Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Mince garlic and grate fresh ginger. In a small bowl, whisk together gochujang, soy sauce, honey, rice vinegar, sesame oil, minced garlic, and grated ginger to create the glaze.
- Pat salmon fillets dry with paper towels. Place them on the prepared baking sheet and brush generously with olive oil.
- Spoon or brush the gochujang glaze over the salmon fillets, ensuring they are evenly coated.
- Bake for 12-15 minutes, or until the salmon is cooked through and flakes easily with a fork.
- Garnish with sesame seeds and sliced green onions, if desired, before serving.
