Ingredients

  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1 oz taco seasoning mix
  • ½ cup water
  • 12 taco shells
  • 1½ cup cheddar cheese, shredded
  • 2 cup lettuce, shredded
  • 1 tomato, diced
  • ½ cup sour cream (optional)
  • ½ cup salsa (optional)

Steps

  1. Brown the ground beef in a large skillet over medium-high heat, breaking it apart with a spoon. Drain any excess grease.
  2. Stir in the taco seasoning mix and water. Bring to a simmer and cook for 5-7 minutes, or until the liquid has mostly evaporated and the beef is well coated.
