Ingredients

  • 4 beef cutlets
  • 2 eggs
  • 200 g breadcrumbs
  • 2 tbsp fresh parsley
  • 2 clove garlic
  • 1 tsp salt
  • ½ tsp black pepper
  • ½ cup vegetable oil
  • 4 lemon wedges (optional)

Steps

  1. Pat beef cutlets dry and season generously with salt and pepper.
  2. In a shallow dish, whisk eggs. In another shallow dish, combine breadcrumbs, chopped parsley, and minced garlic.
  3. Dip each seasoned cutlet first into the beaten egg, ensuring it's fully coated, then press into the breadcrumb mixture until evenly covered.
  4. Heat about 1/2 inch of oil in a large skillet over medium heat.
  5. Carefully place the breaded cutlets into the hot oil, frying for 3-4 minutes per side, until golden brown and cooked through.
  6. Remove milanesas from the skillet and place on a wire rack or paper towels to drain excess oil.
  7. Serve hot, optionally with fresh lemon wedges.
