Ingredients

  • 4 naan bread
  • ¾ cup pizza sauce
  • 2 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1 cup cherry tomatoes (optional)
  • ¼ cup fresh basil leaves (optional)
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • ½ tsp garlic powder (optional)
  • ¼ tsp red pepper flakes (optional)

Steps

  1. Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C). If using cherry tomatoes, slice them in half.
  2. Place naan bread on a baking sheet. Lightly brush the edges of each naan with olive oil.
  3. Spread pizza sauce evenly over each naan, leaving a small border for the crust.
  4. Sprinkle shredded mozzarella cheese generously over the sauce. If desired, add sliced cherry tomatoes and a pinch of garlic powder or red pepper flakes.
  5. Bake for 8-12 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly and the crust is golden brown.
  6. Remove from oven, garnish with fresh basil leaves if using, slice, and serve immediately.
