Naan Pizza
Quick and customizable, this naan pizza uses pre-made naan bread as a delicious, chewy crust for a speedy weeknight meal.
Ingredients
- 4 naan bread
- ¾ cup pizza sauce
- 2 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1 cup cherry tomatoes (optional)
- ¼ cup fresh basil leaves (optional)
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- ½ tsp garlic powder (optional)
- ¼ tsp red pepper flakes (optional)
Steps
- Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C). If using cherry tomatoes, slice them in half.
- Place naan bread on a baking sheet. Lightly brush the edges of each naan with olive oil.
- Spread pizza sauce evenly over each naan, leaving a small border for the crust.
- Sprinkle shredded mozzarella cheese generously over the sauce. If desired, add sliced cherry tomatoes and a pinch of garlic powder or red pepper flakes.
- Bake for 8-12 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly and the crust is golden brown.
- Remove from oven, garnish with fresh basil leaves if using, slice, and serve immediately.
