Ingredients

  • ½ cup mayonnaise
  • 1 lemon
  • 2 tbsp apple cider vinegar
  • 2 tbsp whole grain mustard
  • 1 tsp celery salt
  • ½ head white cabbage
  • ½ head red cabbage
  • 2 carrots
  • ½ onion
  • 2 celery stalks

Steps

  1. In a small bowl, whisk together mayonnaise, lemon zest and juice, apple cider vinegar, whole grain mustard, and celery salt. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
  2. Finely shred or chop both white and red cabbage.
  3. Grate the carrots, dice the onion, and thinly slice the celery stalks.
  4. Combine the prepared cabbage, carrots, onion, and celery in a large bowl.
  5. Pour the dressing over the vegetables and mix thoroughly until all ingredients are well coated.
  6. Refrigerate for at least 30 minutes before serving to allow flavors to meld.
