Ingredients

  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 2 onion
  • 1 tbsp ginger-garlic paste
  • 2 tomato
  • 1 tsp cayenne pepper
  • 1 tsp curry powder
  • 1 tsp garam masala
  • 1 tsp ground turmeric
  • 1 tsp ground cumin
  • 1½ lb chicken breast
  • 2 red potato
  • ½ cup cilantro

Steps

  1. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add diced onions and cook until translucent, about 5 minutes.
  2. Stir in ginger-garlic paste and cook for another 5 minutes.
  3. Reduce heat to medium, add diced tomatoes, and cook until pulpy, 5-10 minutes.
  4. Stir in cayenne pepper, curry powder, garam masala, turmeric, and cumin; cook for 5 more minutes.
  5. Add chicken and potatoes to the skillet. Simmer, stirring occasionally, for 20 minutes, until potatoes are tender and chicken is cooked through.
  6. Stir in cilantro and continue to simmer for another 10 minutes. Serve hot.
