Margherita Flatbread
A simple yet satisfying flatbread topped with classic Margherita flavors of fresh mozzarella, tomatoes, and basil.
Ingredients
- 2 flatbread
- 8 oz fresh mozzarella
- 1 cup cherry tomatoes
- ¼ cup fresh basil leaves
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- ½ tsp garlic powder
- ½ tsp salt
- ¼ tsp black pepper
- 1 tbsp balsamic glaze (optional)
Steps
- Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C). Slice mozzarella and halve cherry tomatoes.
- Brush flatbreads lightly with olive oil and sprinkle with garlic powder, salt, and pepper.
- Arrange mozzarella slices and cherry tomatoes evenly over the flatbreads.
- Bake for 10-12 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly and the crust is golden.
- Remove from oven, scatter fresh basil leaves over the top, and let cool slightly.
- Drizzle with balsamic glaze, if desired, before slicing and serving.
