Ingredients

  • 4 ramen noodle packets
  • 8 cup water
  • 4 large eggs
  • 4 tbsp soy sauce
  • 2 tsp chili sauce
  • 4 tbsp green onions (optional)
  • 2 tsp salt
  • 2 tsp black pepper

Steps

  1. Bring a pot of water to a rolling boil. Gently add the eggs and cook for 6.5 to 7 minutes for a soft-boiled egg.
  2. Immediately transfer the cooked eggs to an ice bath for 3-5 minutes to stop the cooking process. Peel the eggs.
  3. Cook ramen noodles according to package directions, typically in boiling water for 2-3 minutes. Drain most of the water, leaving about 1/2 cup per serving.
  4. Stir in the ramen seasoning packets, soy sauce, chili sauce, salt, and pepper into the noodles and broth.
  5. Slice each peeled egg in half. Serve the ramen in bowls, topping each with two egg halves.
  6. Garnish with chopped green onions if desired.
