Thai Beef Stir-fry
A quick and flavorful Thai beef stir-fry featuring tender beef, spicy chili, and aromatic basil, all coated in a savory oyster sauce.
Ingredients
- 2 tbsp vegetable oil
- 0.9 lb beef sirloin
- 1 red chili
- 2 tbsp oyster sauce
- ½ cup fresh basil leaves
- 4 cups cooked rice (optional)
Steps
- Heat a wok or large frying pan over high heat until smoking hot.
- Add vegetable oil, swirl to coat, then add sliced beef and red chili.
- Stir-fry constantly for about 3 minutes until the beef is lightly browned.
- Pour in the oyster sauce and continue to cook, stirring, until the sauce coats the meat and is heated through.
- Stir in the fresh basil leaves until just wilted.
