Ingredients

  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 lb ground pork
  • 1 clove garlic
  • 1 tbsp ginger
  • 1 carrot
  • 3 scallions
  • 3 cup cabbage
  • 1 tbsp soy sauce
  • 1 tbsp rice vinegar
  • 12 egg roll wrappers
  • 1 serving duck sauce (optional)
  • 1 serving plum sauce (optional)

Steps

  1. In a large skillet over medium heat, add olive oil and ground pork. Break apart the meat and cook for 6-8 minutes until browned.
  2. Add garlic, ginger, carrot, scallions, and cabbage to the skillet. Cook for another 3-4 minutes until cabbage wilts, stirring regularly.
  3. Stir in soy sauce and rice wine vinegar, then remove the filling from heat and let it cool.
  4. Lay an egg roll wrapper like a diamond. Place about 1/4 cup of filling in the center, wet the edges, fold in the sides, and roll tightly into a cylinder. Repeat for all wrappers.
  5. Lightly brush or spray the assembled egg rolls with oil.
  6. Place egg rolls in a single layer in the air fryer basket, ensuring they do not touch.
  7. Air fry at 375°F (190°C) for 8-12 minutes, flipping halfway, until golden brown and crispy.
  8. Serve hot with duck sauce, plum sauce, or extra soy sauce for dipping.
