Ingredients
- 1½ lb potatoes
- 4 strips bacon
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- 2 clove garlic
- 1 tbsp maple syrup
- ½ tsp salt
- ¼ tsp black pepper
- ⅛ tsp allspice (optional)
- 1 tbsp parsley (optional)
Steps

- Cook potatoes for 10-12 minutes, stirring often, until browned and tender. Chop bacon into small pieces.
- Add chopped bacon to the skillet with the potatoes and cook for 5-6 minutes until crispy, stirring occasionally.
- Reduce heat to medium-low, add minced garlic and allspice (if using), and cook for 1 minute until fragrant.
- Drizzle maple syrup over the potatoes and bacon, toss to coat, and cook for another minute to caramelize.
- Stir in fresh or dried parsley (if using) and serve immediately.
