Ingredients

  • 1½ lb cod fillets
  • 8 flour tortillas
  • ½ head red cabbage
  • 2 avocado
  • 2 lime
  • ¼ bunch cilantro
  • ½ cup sour cream
  • ¼ cup mayonnaise
  • 1 tsp chili powder
  • ½ tsp cumin
  • ½ tsp garlic powder
  • ½ tsp salt
  • ¼ tsp black pepper
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tsp hot sauce (optional)

Steps

  1. Pat fish fillets dry and season with chili powder, cumin, garlic powder, salt, and pepper.
  2. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Cook fish for 3-4 minutes per side, or until cooked through and flaky. Flake the fish into pieces.
  3. While fish cooks, thinly slice the red cabbage. Dice the avocado. Chop the cilantro.
  4. In a small bowl, whisk together sour cream, mayonnaise, juice from 1 lime, and a pinch of salt and pepper to make the lime crema. Add hot sauce if desired.
  5. Warm tortillas according to package directions. Spread a spoonful of lime crema on each tortilla.
  6. Divide the flaked fish, shredded cabbage, and diced avocado among the tortillas. Sprinkle with fresh cilantro.
  7. Fold in the sides of each tortilla, then roll up tightly to form burritos.
  8. Serve immediately with extra lime wedges if desired.
