Ingredients

  • 8 sardines, whole
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 3 clove garlic
  • 1 tbsp paprika
  • ½ lemon
  • 4 rosemary sprigs
  • 1 red chili (optional)
  • ½ tsp salt
  • ¼ tsp black pepper

Steps

  1. In a bowl, combine olive oil, minced garlic, paprika, chopped rosemary, and sliced red chili (if using). Season with salt and pepper.
  2. Place the sardines in a baking dish and pour the marinade over them, ensuring they are well coated. Cover and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes, or up to a few hours.
  3. Preheat a grill or griddle pan to medium-high heat.
