Homemade Pepperoni Pizza

Ingredients
- 1 lb pizza dough
- ½ cup pizza sauce
- 8 oz mozzarella cheese
- 4 oz pepperoni slices
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- ½ tsp dried oregano (optional)
- ¼ tsp red pepper flakes (optional)
Steps
- Preheat oven to 450°F (230°C). Lightly grease a pizza pan or baking sheet with olive oil.
- On a lightly floured surface, stretch or roll out the pizza dough to your desired thickness and shape.
- Transfer the dough to the prepared pan. Spread pizza sauce evenly over the dough, leaving a small border for the crust.
- Sprinkle shredded mozzarella cheese over the sauce, then arrange pepperoni slices on top.
- Bake for 12-18 minutes, or until the crust is golden brown and the cheese is bubbly and slightly browned.
- Remove from oven, let cool for a few minutes, then slice and serve. Optionally sprinkle with oregano and red pepper flakes.
