Ingredients

  • 18 oz yakisoba noodles
  • 1 lb shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 4 cup cabbage, shredded
  • 1 cup carrot, julienned
  • 1 onion, thinly sliced
  • 1 bell pepper, sliced
  • 2 tbsp vegetable oil
  • ¾ cup yakisoba sauce
  • 1 tsp sesame seeds (optional)
  • 2 green onions, sliced (optional)

Steps

  1. Prepare yakisoba noodles according to package directions; drain and set aside.
  2. In a large skillet or wok, heat vegetable oil over medium-high heat. Add shrimp and cook for 2-3 minutes per side, until pink and cooked through. Remove shrimp and set aside.
  3. Add sliced onion, carrot, and bell pepper to the skillet and stir-fry for 3-4 minutes until slightly tender. Add shredded cabbage and cook for another 2-3 minutes.
  4. Return the cooked shrimp to the skillet with the vegetables. Add the cooked noodles and pour in the yakisoba sauce.
  5. Toss everything together until well combined and heated through, about 2-3 minutes.
  6. Serve immediately, garnished with sesame seeds and sliced green onions, if desired.
