Tender chicken pieces coated in a savory, sweet, and garlicky soy glaze, perfect for a weeknight meal.
Ingredients
- 1½ lb boneless, skinless chicken thighs
- ½ cup soy sauce
- ¼ cup honey
- 4 clove garlic
- 1 tbsp ginger
- 1 tbsp sesame oil
- 1 tbsp cornstarch
- 2 tbsp water
- 1 tbsp vegetable oil
- 1 tsp sesame seeds (optional)

- In a bowl, whisk together soy sauce, honey, minced garlic, grated ginger, and sesame oil.
- In a separate small bowl, dissolve cornstarch in water to create a slurry.
- Heat vegetable oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add chicken pieces and cook until browned on all sides, about 5-7 minutes.
- Pour the soy garlic sauce over the chicken. Bring to a simmer, then stir in the cornstarch slurry.
- Cook, stirring constantly, until the sauce thickens and coats the chicken, about 2-3 minutes.
- Remove from heat. Garnish with sesame seeds and sliced green onions, if desired.
- Serve immediately with rice or noodles.
