Baked BBQ Chicken Thighs
Tender chicken thighs baked to perfection with a smoky, sweet, and tangy BBQ glaze.
Ingredients
- 1½ lb boneless, skinless chicken thighs
- ¾ cup BBQ sauce
- 1 tsp paprika
- ½ tsp garlic powder
- ½ tsp onion powder
- ½ tsp salt
- ¼ tsp black pepper
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- 2 tbsp fresh parsley (optional)
Steps
- Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Pat chicken thighs dry with paper towels. In a small bowl, combine paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper.
- Rub the spice mixture over both sides of the chicken thighs. Drizzle with olive oil.
- Place chicken on the prepared baking sheet and bake for 20 minutes.
- Remove from oven, brush generously with BBQ sauce, and return to oven for another 15-20 minutes, or until chicken reaches an internal temperature of 165°F (74°C) and sauce is caramelized.
- Let chicken rest for 5 minutes before serving. Garnish with fresh parsley if desired.
