Baked Halibut
Enjoy a simple yet elegant baked halibut, featuring flaky white fish seasoned perfectly and cooked to tender perfection.
Ingredients
- 1½ lb halibut fillets
- 1 lemon
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- ½ tsp paprika
- ¾ tsp salt
- ½ tsp black pepper
- 2 tbsp fresh parsley (optional)
Steps
- Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Pat halibut fillets dry with paper towels. In a small bowl, whisk together olive oil, garlic powder, paprika, salt, and pepper.
- Place halibut on the prepared baking sheet. Brush both sides of the fillets with the olive oil mixture.
- Bake for 12-15 minutes, or until the fish is opaque and flakes easily with a fork.
- Squeeze fresh lemon juice over the baked halibut. Garnish with fresh parsley, if desired, before serving.
