Ingredients

  • 1½ lb halibut fillets
  • 1 lemon
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • ½ tsp paprika
  • ¾ tsp salt
  • ½ tsp black pepper
  • 2 tbsp fresh parsley (optional)

Steps

  1. Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Pat halibut fillets dry with paper towels. In a small bowl, whisk together olive oil, garlic powder, paprika, salt, and pepper.
  3. Place halibut on the prepared baking sheet. Brush both sides of the fillets with the olive oil mixture.
