Ingredients

  • 1½ lb salmon fillets
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • ½ tsp salt
  • ¼ tsp black pepper
  • ½ cup mayonnaise
  • ¼ cup fresh dill
  • 2 tbsp lemon juice
  • 1 tsp Dijon mustard
  • ½ tsp garlic powder
  • 2 lemon wedges (optional)

Steps

  1. Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Pat salmon fillets dry with a paper towel. Drizzle with olive oil, then season with salt and pepper.
  3. Place salmon on the prepared baking sheet and bake for 12-15 minutes, or until cooked through and flaky.
  4. While salmon bakes, prepare the dill sauce: In a small bowl, whisk together mayonnaise, chopped fresh dill, lemon juice, Dijon mustard, and garlic powder.
  5. Once salmon is cooked, remove from oven. Serve immediately with a generous dollop of dill sauce and optional lemon wedges.
