Ingredients

  • 1½ lb tilapia fillets
  • 1 lemon
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • ½ tsp paprika
  • 1 tsp dried parsley
  • ½ tsp salt
  • ¼ tsp black pepper
  • 2 tbsp fresh parsley (optional)

Steps

  1. Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Pat tilapia fillets dry with paper towels. In a small bowl, whisk together olive oil, garlic powder, paprika, dried parsley, salt, and black pepper.
  3. Place the tilapia fillets on the prepared baking sheet. Brush both sides of each fillet with the olive oil mixture.
  4. Slice the lemon into thin rounds. Place a lemon slice on top of each fillet.
  5. Bake for 12-15 minutes, or until the fish is opaque and flakes easily with a fork.
  6. Garnish with fresh parsley, if desired, and serve immediately.
