Balsamic Glazed Pork Tenderloin

Ingredients

  • 1½ lb pork tenderloin
  • ½ cup balsamic vinegar
  • 2 tbsp brown sugar
  • 3 clove garlic
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tsp dried thyme
  • ½ tsp salt
  • ¼ tsp black pepper
  • 2 tbsp fresh parsley (optional)

Steps

  1. Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C). Pat the pork tenderloin dry with paper towels.
  2. In a small bowl, whisk together balsamic vinegar, brown sugar, minced garlic, dried thyme, salt, and pepper.
  3. Heat olive oil in an oven-safe skillet over medium-high heat. Sear the pork tenderloin for 2-3 minutes per side until browned.
  4. Pour half of the balsamic glaze over the pork in the skillet. Transfer the skillet to the preheated oven.
  5. Roast for 15-20 minutes, or until the internal temperature reaches 145°F (63°C). Baste with remaining glaze halfway through cooking.
  6. Remove from oven, tent with foil, and let rest for 5-10 minutes before slicing. Garnish with fresh parsley, if desired.
