Bean & Sausage Hotpot

Ingredients

  • 4 pork sausages
  • 24 oz tomato sauce
  • 28 oz butter beans
  • ½ tbsp black molasses
  • ½ tsp English mustard
  • 1 loaf crusty bread (optional)
  • 2 cup rice (optional)

Steps

  1. Brown the sausages in a large casserole dish over medium-high heat for about 10 minutes, turning occasionally.
  2. Drain any excess fat from the casserole dish.
  3. Add the tomato sauce, butter beans, black molasses, and English mustard to the casserole dish. Stir well to combine.
  4. Bring the mixture to a simmer, then reduce heat to low, cover the casserole, and cook for 30 minutes.
  5. Serve the hotpot hot, optionally with crusty bread or rice.
