Corned Beef Hash
A hearty and flavorful British classic featuring crispy corned beef and potatoes, perfect for breakfast or brunch.
Ingredients
- 3 tbsp unsalted butter
- 1 medium onion
- 3 cup corned beef
- 3 cup potatoes
- ½ tsp kosher salt
- ½ tsp black pepper
- 2 tbsp fresh parsley (optional)
Steps
- Melt butter in a large skillet over medium heat. Add chopped onion and cook until translucent, about 5 minutes.
- Stir in the chopped corned beef and potatoes, spreading the mixture evenly across the pan.
- Increase heat to medium-high. Press down on the hash with a spatula and cook without stirring until a browned crust forms on the bottom, about 8-10 minutes.
- Use a metal spatula to flip sections of the hash, then press down again to encourage browning on the other side. Cook for another 8-10 minutes.
- Continue cooking and flipping until the potatoes and corned beef are nicely browned and crispy.
- Remove from heat, stir in chopped parsley, and season generously with salt and black pepper to taste.
