BLT with Avocado
A classic BLT sandwich elevated with creamy avocado, offering a perfect balance of smoky, crisp, and fresh flavors.
Ingredients
- 12 slice bacon
- 2 large ripe tomatoes
- 4 leaf romaine lettuce
- 2 avocados
- 8 slice sandwich bread
- ½ cup mayonnaise
- ¼ tsp salt
- ⅛ tsp black pepper
Steps
- Cook bacon in a large skillet over medium heat until crispy. Drain on paper towels.
- Slice tomatoes and avocados. Wash and dry lettuce leaves.
- Toast bread slices to your desired crispness.
- Spread mayonnaise evenly on one side of each toasted bread slice.
- Assemble sandwiches by layering lettuce, tomato slices, crispy bacon, and avocado slices on four of the bread halves. Season tomatoes with salt and pepper.
- Top with the remaining bread halves and cut sandwiches in half, if desired, before serving.
