Cheeseburger Tacos
Enjoy the best of both worlds with these fun and flavorful cheeseburger tacos, combining juicy ground beef, melted cheese, and classic burger toppings in a soft tortilla.
Ingredients
- 1 lb ground beef, 80/20
- 8 taco shells or small flour tortillas
- 1 cup cheddar cheese, shredded
- ½ onion, small
- ½ cup dill pickles, sliced
- 2 cups lettuce, shredded
- ¼ cup ketchup
- 2 tbsp mustard
- ½ tsp salt
- ¼ tsp black pepper
- 1 tsp sesame seeds (optional)
Steps
- Finely dice the onion and shred the lettuce. Slice the pickles.
- Brown the ground beef in a large skillet over medium-high heat, breaking it apart with a spoon. Drain any excess grease.
- Season the beef with salt and pepper. Stir in the diced onion and cook for 3-5 minutes until softened.
- Reduce heat to low. Add the shredded cheese over the beef and cover the skillet for 2-3 minutes until melted.
- Warm the taco shells or tortillas according to package directions.
- Assemble the tacos: spoon the cheeseburger mixture into the warm shells/tortillas. Top with shredded lettuce, sliced pickles, ketchup, and mustard. Sprinkle with sesame seeds if desired.
