Classic Club Sandwiches
A triple-layered classic, this club sandwich features toasted bread, savory turkey and ham, crispy bacon, fresh lettuce, and ripe tomatoes, all brought together with a creamy mayonnaise spread.
Ingredients
- 12 slice white bread
- ¾ lb turkey breast, sliced
- ½ lb ham, sliced
- 8 slice bacon
- 8 lettuce leaves
- 2 tomatoes
- ½ cup mayonnaise
- ¼ tsp salt (optional)
- ⅛ tsp black pepper (optional)
Steps
- Cook bacon until crispy. Drain on paper towels and set aside.
- Toast the bread slices to your desired crispness.
- Spread mayonnaise evenly on one side of each toast slice.
- Layer the first sandwich: Place lettuce, tomato slices, turkey, and bacon on one slice of toast. Top with a second slice of toast.
- Continue layering: Add more lettuce, tomato, ham, and the remaining bacon on the second toast slice. Top with the third slice of toast.
- Secure each sandwich with toothpicks, then cut into halves or quarters. Serve immediately.
