Ingredients

  • 4 bone-in pork chops
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 2 large eggs
  • 2 tbsp milk
  • 1½ cup bread crumbs
  • 1 tsp paprika
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • ½ tsp onion powder
  • 1 tsp salt
  • ½ tsp black pepper
  • ¾ cup vegetable oil
  • 2 lemon wedges (optional)
  • 2 tbsp fresh parsley, chopped (optional)

Steps

  1. Pat pork chops dry with paper towels and season both sides with salt and pepper.
  2. Set up a breading station: in one shallow dish, combine flour, paprika, garlic powder, and onion powder. In a second shallow dish, whisk eggs and milk. In a third shallow dish, place bread crumbs.
  3. Dredge each pork chop first in the seasoned flour, shaking off excess, then dip into the egg mixture, and finally coat thoroughly with bread crumbs.
  4. Heat vegetable oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat until shimmering. Carefully place 2 pork chops in the hot oil, ensuring not to overcrowd the pan.
  5. Fry for 4-6 minutes per side, or until golden brown and cooked through (internal temperature reaches 145°F). Remove from skillet and place on a wire rack to drain excess oil.
  6. Repeat with the remaining pork chops. Serve immediately, garnished with lemon wedges and fresh parsley if desired.
