Ingredients

  • 1½ lb boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 tsp paprika
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • ½ tsp onion powder
  • ¾ tsp salt
  • ½ tsp black pepper
  • 2 eggs
  • 2 tbsp milk
  • 2 cups panko breadcrumbs
  • 3 cups vegetable oil
  • 1 serving honey mustard (optional)
  • 1 serving ketchup (optional)

Steps

  1. Cut chicken breasts into 1-inch wide strips.
  2. In a shallow dish, combine flour, paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper.
  3. In a second shallow dish, whisk eggs and milk.
  4. In a third shallow dish, place panko breadcrumbs.
  5. Dip each chicken strip first in the flour mixture, then in the egg mixture, and finally coat thoroughly with panko breadcrumbs.
  6. Heat vegetable oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat to 350°F (175°C).
  7. Fry chicken tenders for 3-5 minutes per side, or until golden brown and cooked through.
  8. Serve hot with your favorite dipping sauces.
