Crispy Chicken Tenders
Golden-fried chicken tenders with a perfectly crisp coating, ideal for a satisfying meal or snack.
Ingredients
- 1½ lb boneless, skinless chicken breasts
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1 tsp paprika
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- ½ tsp onion powder
- ¾ tsp salt
- ½ tsp black pepper
- 2 eggs
- 2 tbsp milk
- 2 cups panko breadcrumbs
- 3 cups vegetable oil
- 1 serving honey mustard (optional)
- 1 serving ketchup (optional)
Steps
- Cut chicken breasts into 1-inch wide strips.
- In a shallow dish, combine flour, paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper.
- In a second shallow dish, whisk eggs and milk.
- In a third shallow dish, place panko breadcrumbs.
- Dip each chicken strip first in the flour mixture, then in the egg mixture, and finally coat thoroughly with panko breadcrumbs.
- Heat vegetable oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat to 350°F (175°C).
- Fry chicken tenders for 3-5 minutes per side, or until golden brown and cooked through.
- Serve hot with your favorite dipping sauces.
