Flaky salmon fillets bathed in a rich garlic butter sauce, a quick and elegant meal perfect for any weeknight.
Ingredients
- 1½ lb salmon fillets
- ½ cup unsalted butter
- 6 clove garlic
- 1 lemon
- ¼ cup fresh parsley (optional)
- 1 tsp salt
- ½ tsp black pepper
- 1 tbsp olive oil
Steps
- Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C). Pat salmon fillets dry with paper towels and season generously with salt and pepper.
- Melt olive oil in a large oven-safe skillet over medium-high heat. Sear salmon skin-side down for 3-4 minutes until crispy.

- Squeeze the juice of half a lemon over the salmon and spoon the garlic butter sauce over the fillets.
- Transfer the skillet to the preheated oven and bake for 8-12 minutes, or until salmon is cooked through and flakes easily.
- Garnish with fresh chopped parsley and serve immediately with remaining lemon wedges.
