Ingredients

  • 1½ lb shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • ½ cup unsalted butter
  • 6 clove garlic
  • 2 tbsp lemon juice
  • ¼ cup fresh parsley (optional)
  • ½ tsp red pepper flakes (optional)
  • ¾ tsp salt
  • ½ tsp black pepper

Steps

  1. Pat shrimp dry with paper towels and season with salt and pepper.
  2. Melt butter in a large skillet over medium heat. Add minced garlic and red pepper flakes (if using), and cook for 1 minute until fragrant.
  3. Add shrimp to the skillet in a single layer and cook for 2-3 minutes per side, until pink and opaque.
  4. Stir in lemon juice and fresh parsley. Toss to coat the shrimp evenly.
