Garlic Parmesan Chicken

Ingredients

  • 1½ lb boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • ½ tsp onion powder
  • 1 tsp Italian seasoning
  • ½ tsp salt
  • ¼ tsp black pepper
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 2 tbsp butter
  • 4 clove minced garlic
  • ½ cup chicken broth
  • ½ cup heavy cream
  • ¾ cup Parmesan cheese, grated
  • 2 tbsp fresh parsley, chopped (optional)

Steps

  1. Pat chicken breasts dry and season with garlic powder, onion powder, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper.
  2. Heat olive oil in an oven-safe skillet over medium-high heat. Sear chicken for 3-4 minutes per side until golden brown. Remove chicken and set aside.
  3. Reduce heat to medium, add butter to the skillet, and sauté minced garlic for 1 minute until fragrant.
  4. Stir in chicken broth and heavy cream, bringing the mixture to a simmer. Cook for 2-3 minutes until slightly thickened.
  5. Remove skillet from heat and stir in grated Parmesan cheese until melted and smooth. Return chicken to the skillet.
  6. Bake in a preheated oven at 375°F (190°C) for 10-15 minutes, or until chicken is cooked through (internal temperature 165°F/74°C).
  7. Garnish with fresh parsley, if desired, and serve immediately.
