Grilled Salmon

Ingredients

  • 1½ lb salmon fillets
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 lemon
  • 2 tbsp fresh dill (optional)
  • 1 tsp salt
  • ½ tsp black pepper

Steps

  1. Preheat your grill to medium-high heat (about 400-4500F).
  2. Pat salmon fillets dry with paper towels. Brush both sides of the salmon with olive oil and season with salt and pepper.
  3. Place salmon skin-side down on the preheated grill. Grill for 6-8 minutes, or until the skin is crispy and the flesh turns opaque about halfway up.
  4. Carefully flip the salmon and grill for another 3-5 minutes, or until cooked through and flakes easily with a fork.
  5. Remove salmon from the grill. Squeeze fresh lemon juice over the fillets and garnish with fresh dill, if using.
  6. Serve immediately.
