Ingredients

  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 16 oz green beans, fresh or frozen
  • 10½ oz cream of mushroom soup
  • ½ cup milk
  • 1 tbsp soy sauce (optional)
  • ½ tsp black pepper
  • ½ tsp garlic powder
  • ½ tsp onion powder
  • ½ tsp salt
  • 2.8 oz fried onions (crispy)

Steps

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Brown ground beef in a large skillet over medium-high heat, breaking it apart as it cooks. Drain any excess fat.
  3. Stir in green beans, cream of mushroom soup, milk, soy sauce (if using), salt, pepper, garlic powder, and onion powder into the skillet with the beef. Mix well.
  4. Pour the mixture into a 9x13 inch baking dish.
  5. Bake for 20-25 minutes, or until heated through and bubbly.
  6. Remove from oven, sprinkle the crispy fried onions evenly over the top.
  7. Return to oven and bake for another 5-7 minutes, or until the fried onions are golden brown.
  8. Serve hot.
