Ham and Cheese Sliders
These quick and easy ham and cheese sliders, baked until golden and gooey, are perfect for a party appetizer or a simple weeknight meal.
Ingredients
- 12 Hawaiian rolls
- ¾ lb Deli ham
- 8 Swiss cheese slices
- ½ cup Unsalted butter
- 1 tbsp Dijon mustard
- ½ tsp Worcestershire sauce
- ½ tsp Onion powder
- ½ tsp Poppy seeds (optional)
Steps
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Slice the Hawaiian rolls in half horizontally, keeping them connected.
- Place the bottom halves of the rolls in a 9x13 inch baking dish. Layer with ham and then Swiss cheese.
- Place the top halves of the rolls over the cheese.
- In a small saucepan, melt butter. Stir in Dijon mustard, Worcestershire sauce, and onion powder. Add poppy seeds if using.
- Pour the butter mixture evenly over the tops of the rolls.
- Cover the baking dish with aluminum foil and bake for 10-15 minutes, or until cheese is melted.
- Remove foil and bake for another 5 minutes, or until tops are golden brown.
- Slice into individual sliders and serve warm.
