Ham and Cheese Sliders

These quick and easy ham and cheese sliders, baked until golden and gooey, are perfect for a party appetizer or a simple weeknight meal.

Ingredients

  • 12 Hawaiian rolls
  • ¾ lb Deli ham
  • 8 Swiss cheese slices
  • ½ cup Unsalted butter
  • 1 tbsp Dijon mustard
  • ½ tsp Worcestershire sauce
  • ½ tsp Onion powder
  • ½ tsp Poppy seeds (optional)

Steps

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Slice the Hawaiian rolls in half horizontally, keeping them connected.
  2. Place the bottom halves of the rolls in a 9x13 inch baking dish. Layer with ham and then Swiss cheese.
  3. Place the top halves of the rolls over the cheese.
  4. In a small saucepan, melt butter. Stir in Dijon mustard, Worcestershire sauce, and onion powder. Add poppy seeds if using.
  5. Pour the butter mixture evenly over the tops of the rolls.
  6. Cover the baking dish with aluminum foil and bake for 10-15 minutes, or until cheese is melted.
  7. Remove foil and bake for another 5 minutes, or until tops are golden brown.
  8. Slice into individual sliders and serve warm.
