Ingredients

  • 1½ lb boneless pork chops
  • 4 clove garlic
  • ¼ cup honey
  • 2 tbsp soy sauce
  • 1 tbsp apple cider vinegar
  • 1 tsp cornstarch
  • 1 tbsp water
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • ½ tsp salt
  • ¼ tsp black pepper
  • 2 tbsp fresh parsley (optional)

Steps

  1. Pat pork chops dry and season with salt and pepper.
  2. In a small bowl, whisk together minced garlic, honey, soy sauce, and apple cider vinegar.
  3. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Sear pork chops for 3-4 minutes per side, until golden brown and cooked through. Remove chops from skillet and set aside.
  4. Pour the honey garlic sauce into the skillet. Bring to a simmer, then reduce heat to low.
  5. In a tiny bowl, whisk cornstarch and water to create a slurry. Add the slurry to the simmering sauce, whisking constantly until sauce thickens.
  6. Return pork chops to the skillet, turning to coat them in the thickened sauce.
  7. Garnish with fresh parsley, if desired, and serve immediately.
