Honey Garlic Pork Chops
Sweet and savory pork chops glazed with a sticky honey garlic sauce, perfect for a quick weeknight meal.
Ingredients
- 1½ lb boneless pork chops
- 4 clove garlic
- ¼ cup honey
- 2 tbsp soy sauce
- 1 tbsp apple cider vinegar
- 1 tsp cornstarch
- 1 tbsp water
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- ½ tsp salt
- ¼ tsp black pepper
- 2 tbsp fresh parsley (optional)
Steps
- Pat pork chops dry and season with salt and pepper.
- In a small bowl, whisk together minced garlic, honey, soy sauce, and apple cider vinegar.
- Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Sear pork chops for 3-4 minutes per side, until golden brown and cooked through. Remove chops from skillet and set aside.
- Pour the honey garlic sauce into the skillet. Bring to a simmer, then reduce heat to low.
- In a tiny bowl, whisk cornstarch and water to create a slurry. Add the slurry to the simmering sauce, whisking constantly until sauce thickens.
- Return pork chops to the skillet, turning to coat them in the thickened sauce.
- Garnish with fresh parsley, if desired, and serve immediately.
