Ingredients

  • 1½ lb boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • ¼ cup honey
  • ¼ cup Dijon mustard
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • ½ tsp garlic powder
  • ½ tsp paprika
  • ½ tsp salt
  • ¼ tsp black pepper
  • 2 tbsp fresh parsley, chopped (optional)

Steps

  1. Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. In a medium bowl, whisk together honey, Dijon mustard, olive oil, garlic powder, paprika, salt, and pepper to create the honey mustard sauce.
  3. Place chicken breasts on the prepared baking sheet. Pour about half of the honey mustard sauce over the chicken, ensuring it's evenly coated.
  4. Bake for 20-25 minutes, or until the internal temperature of the chicken reaches 165°F (74°C).
  5. During the last 5-7 minutes of baking, brush the remaining sauce over the chicken.
  6. Remove from oven and let rest for 5 minutes before slicing. Garnish with fresh parsley, if desired, and serve.
