Lemon Herb Salmon
Flaky salmon fillets baked with bright lemon, fresh herbs, and a hint of garlic for a simple yet elegant meal.
Ingredients
- 1½ lb salmon fillets
- 2 lemon
- ¼ cup fresh parsley
- 2 tbsp fresh dill
- 3 clove garlic
- 3 tbsp olive oil
- ¾ tsp salt
- ½ tsp black pepper
Steps
- Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Pat salmon fillets dry. Mince garlic, chop parsley and dill. Slice one lemon into thin rounds, and halve the other for juice.
- In a small bowl, whisk together olive oil, minced garlic, chopped parsley, chopped dill, the juice of half a lemon, salt, and pepper.
- Place salmon fillets on the prepared baking sheet. Spoon the herb mixture evenly over each fillet.
- Arrange lemon slices on top of the salmon fillets.
- Bake for 12-15 minutes, or until the salmon is cooked through and flakes easily with a fork.
