Philly Cheesesteak Wrap
Enjoy all the savory flavors of a classic Philly cheesesteak, wrapped up conveniently for a satisfying meal.
Ingredients
- 1 lb thinly sliced beef (ribeye or sirloin)
- 4 large flour tortillas
- 8 provolone cheese slices
- 1 yellow onion
- 1 green bell pepper
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- ½ tsp salt
- ¼ tsp black pepper
- 4 tbsp mayonnaise (optional)
Steps
- Thinly slice the yellow onion and green bell pepper. If your beef is not already thinly sliced, slice it against the grain into very thin strips.
- Heat olive oil in a large skillet or griddle over medium-high heat. Add the sliced onions and bell peppers and cook until softened, about 5-7 minutes.
- Push the vegetables to one side of the skillet. Add the thinly sliced beef to the other side, season with salt and pepper, and cook, stirring occasionally, until browned and cooked through, about 3-5 minutes.
- Mix the beef and vegetables together. Divide the mixture into four equal portions in the skillet, then top each portion with two slices of provolone cheese. Cover the skillet briefly until the cheese is melted.
- Warm the flour tortillas according to package directions. Spread mayonnaise on each tortilla if desired.
- Spoon one portion of the cheesesteak mixture onto the center of each warm tortilla. Fold in the sides, then roll up tightly to form a wrap. Serve immediately.
