Sausage and Pepper Skewers

Ingredients
- 1½ lb Italian sausage
- 3 Bell peppers (mixed colors)
- 1 Red onion
- 2 tbsp Olive oil
- ½ tsp Salt
- ¼ tsp Black pepper
- ½ tsp Garlic powder
- 8 Wooden or metal skewers (optional)
Steps
- If using wooden skewers, soak them in water for at least 30 minutes to prevent burning.
- Cut the Italian sausage into 1-inch thick rounds. Core and deseed the bell peppers, then cut them into 1-inch pieces. Peel and cut the red onion into 1-inch pieces.
- In a large bowl, toss the sausage, bell peppers, and red onion with olive oil, salt, black pepper, and garlic powder until evenly coated.
- Thread the sausage and vegetables alternately onto the skewers.
- Preheat your grill to medium-high heat.
- Grill the skewers for 12-15 minutes, turning occasionally, until the sausage is cooked through and the vegetables are tender-crisp and slightly charred.
