Sheet Pan Sausage and Peppers
Enjoy a classic combination of savory sausage and sweet bell peppers, all roasted together on one sheet pan for an easy and delicious meal.
Ingredients
- 1½ lb Italian sausage
- 3 bell peppers
- 1 yellow onion
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- ½ tsp dried oregano
- ½ tsp salt
- ¼ tsp black pepper
- 2 tbsp fresh parsley (optional)
Steps
- Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a large sheet pan with parchment paper for easy cleanup.
- Slice the bell peppers and onion into 1/2-inch strips. Cut the Italian sausage into 1-inch pieces.
- On the prepared sheet pan, combine the sausage, bell peppers, and onion. Drizzle with olive oil and sprinkle with garlic powder, oregano, salt, and black pepper. Toss to coat everything evenly.
- Spread the ingredients in a single layer on the sheet pan.
- Roast for 20-25 minutes, stirring halfway through, until the sausage is cooked through and the vegetables are tender and slightly caramelized.
- Remove from oven. Garnish with fresh parsley, if desired, and serve immediately.
