Slow Cooker Mississippi Pot Roast

Ingredients
- 2½ lb chuck roast
- 1 oz ranch seasoning mix
- 1 oz au jus gravy mix
- ½ stick butter
- 8 pepperoncini peppers
- ¼ cup pepperoncini juice
- ½ tsp salt (optional)
- ¼ tsp black pepper (optional)
Steps
- Season the chuck roast with salt and pepper, if desired.
- Place the chuck roast in the slow cooker.
- Sprinkle the ranch seasoning mix and au jus gravy mix over the roast.
- Place the butter on top of the roast.
- Add the pepperoncini peppers and pour the pepperoncini juice around the roast.
- Cover and cook on low for 6-8 hours, or until the roast is fork-tender.
- Shred the pot roast with two forks directly in the slow cooker with the juices.
- Serve warm with your favorite sides.
