Ingredients
- ¼ cup butter
- 2 lb ground beef
- 2 tsp salt
- ½ tsp allspice
- ½ tsp cinnamon
- ½ tsp black pepper
- 5 cup chicken broth
- 2 cup rice
- 2 tbsp butter
- ½ cup pine nuts
Steps
- Melt 1/4 cup butter in a large saucepan over medium-high heat. Add ground beef and season with salt, allspice, cinnamon, and black pepper. Cook, stirring, until the beef is browned and crumbly, about 7-10 minutes.
- Stir chicken broth and rice into the beef in the saucepan. Bring the mixture to a boil.
- Reduce heat to low, cover the saucepan, and cook until the liquid is absorbed, about 20 minutes.
