Syrian Spaghetti

Ingredients

  • 16 oz spaghetti
  • 8 oz tomato sauce
  • 6 oz tomato paste
  • 1 tsp cinnamon
  • ¼ cup vegetable oil
  • ½ tsp salt
  • ¼ tsp black pepper

Steps

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Lightly grease a 9x13 inch baking dish.
  2. Bring a large pot of lightly salted water to a boil. Add spaghetti and cook according to package directions until al dente; drain well.
  3. In a large bowl, combine the drained spaghetti with tomato sauce, tomato paste, cinnamon, vegetable oil, salt, and pepper. Stir until the spaghetti is evenly coated.
  4. Transfer the seasoned spaghetti to the prepared baking dish, spreading it evenly.
  5. Bake in the preheated oven for 60 minutes, or until the top is crunchy and golden brown.
  6. Serve hot.
