Tuna Poke Bowl
A refreshing and vibrant Hawaiian-inspired bowl featuring fresh raw tuna, rice, and an array of colorful toppings.
Ingredients
- 1 lb sushi-grade tuna
- 3 cup cooked sushi rice
- ¼ cup soy sauce
- 2 tbsp sesame oil
- 1 tbsp rice vinegar
- 1 tbsp fresh ginger
- 4 green onions
- 1 cucumber
- 2 avocado
- 1 tbsp sesame seeds (optional)
- 1 tsp sriracha (optional)
- 4 oz seaweed salad (optional)
Steps
- Dice the sushi-grade tuna into 1/2-inch cubes.
- In a medium bowl, whisk together soy sauce, sesame oil, rice vinegar, grated ginger, and sliced green onions.
- Add the diced tuna to the sauce mixture and gently toss to coat. Let marinate for 10-15 minutes.
- Divide the cooked sushi rice among four serving bowls.
- Arrange the marinated tuna over the rice in each bowl.
- Slice the cucumber and avocado, then arrange them alongside the tuna in each bowl.
- Garnish with sesame seeds, a drizzle of sriracha, and a side of seaweed salad if desired, then serve immediately.
