Walking Tacos

Ingredients
- 1 lb ground beef
- 1 oz taco seasoning mix
- ½ cup water
- 4 corn chips (single serving bags)
- 2 cups shredded lettuce
- 1 cup diced tomatoes
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- ½ cup sour cream (optional)
- ½ cup salsa (optional)
- ¼ cup sliced jalapeños (optional)
Steps
- Brown the ground beef in a skillet over medium heat, breaking it apart with a spoon. Drain any excess grease.
- Add taco seasoning mix and water to the skillet with the beef. Stir well and simmer for 5-7 minutes, until the sauce thickens.
- Prepare toppings: shred lettuce, dice tomatoes, and gather cheese, sour cream, salsa, and jalapeños.
- Open each single-serving bag of corn chips along the side. Gently crush the chips slightly inside the bag.
- Spoon about 1/2 cup of the seasoned ground beef into each bag of chips.
- Top with shredded lettuce, diced tomatoes, and shredded cheddar cheese. Add sour cream, salsa, or jalapeños if desired, and serve directly from the bag with a fork.
