Yorkshire Puddings
Crispy on the outside and soft on the inside, these classic British Yorkshire puddings are perfect for accompanying a roast.
Ingredients
- 0.3 lb all-purpose flour
- 4 egg
- 0.8 cup milk
- 2 tbsp sunflower oil
- ½ tsp salt
- ¼ tsp black pepper
Steps
- Preheat oven to 450°F (230°C). Drizzle sunflower oil into two 4-hole Yorkshire pudding tins or a 12-hole muffin tin and place in the oven to heat.
- In a bowl, whisk flour and eggs until smooth. Gradually add milk, beating until the batter is completely lump-free. Season with salt and pepper.
- Carefully remove the hot tins from the oven. Pour the batter evenly into the oiled holes, filling about one-third full.
- Return the tins to the oven and bake undisturbed for 20-25 minutes, or until the puddings are puffed up and golden brown.
- Serve immediately as a side dish.
