Lemon Garlic Butter Salmon
Flaky salmon fillets baked to perfection with a bright and savory lemon garlic butter sauce.
Ingredients
- 1½ lb salmon fillets
- ½ cup butter
- 4 clove garlic
- 1 lemon
- ¼ cup fresh parsley (optional)
- ½ tsp salt
- ¼ tsp black pepper
Steps
- Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Pat salmon fillets dry with paper towels and season with salt and pepper.
- In a small saucepan, melt butter over medium heat. Add minced garlic and cook for 1 minute until fragrant.
- Remove from heat, stir in lemon juice and chopped parsley (if using).
- Place salmon on the prepared baking sheet and pour the lemon garlic butter sauce evenly over each fillet.
- Bake for 12-15 minutes, or until salmon is cooked through and flakes easily with a fork.
